1. Who we are

This website, mendai.tech (the "Site"), is operated by Mend AS - Norway ("Mendai", "we", "us"). You can reach us at [privacy@mendai.tech].

2. What these terms cover

These terms govern your use of the Site and the Mendai preview program (the waitlist and contact form). They do not govern the Mendai application itself. The application will have its own terms, presented before first use.

By using the Site you accept these terms. If we change them, we will update the effective date above; material changes to the preview program will be announced to registered participants by email.

3. Not medical advice

The Site provides general information only. Nothing on it is medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and nothing on it creates a clinician–patient relationship between you and Mendai or any clinician who advises us. Never disregard or delay professional medical advice because of something you read here.

Mendai is not an emergency or crisis service. If you are in immediate danger, or thinking about harming yourself or someone else, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line now — see Crisis resources.

4. Eligibility

The Site and the preview program are intended for people aged 18 or older. By submitting the preview form you confirm that you are at least 18.

5. The preview program

Submitting the preview form lets us contact you about early access, research conversations, and product updates. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access, and we may limit, stage, or close the program at any time. You can ask us to remove you at any point by writing to [contact email]; see the Privacy Policy for how we handle your details.

If you choose to give us feedback or ideas, you agree we may use them to improve our products without owing you compensation or attribution. Do not send us confidential information through the form.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Site for anything unlawful, or to harm others;
• probe, disrupt, or overload the Site or its infrastructure, or attempt to gain access to systems or data not intended for you;
• scrape or bulk-collect content or personal data from the Site, beyond ordinary search-engine indexing we permit via robots.txt;
• misrepresent your identity or affiliation when contacting us.

7. Intellectual property

The Site and its content — text, design, graphics, logos, and code — belong to Mendai or its licensors. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive licence to view the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. The Mendai name and wordmark may not be used without our written permission.

8. Third-party links

The Site links to third-party resources, including independent crisis services. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or availability.

9. Disclaimers

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Mendai is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the Site, and our total liability for claims relating to the Site is limited to [amount — counsel to set]. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
